Anne S. Klein
Anne S. Klein is the founder of Anne Klein Communications Group, LLC (AKCG), a firm she headed for 35 years. Anne played a leading role in the public relations arena, both in the Philadelphia region, nationally and internationally, for more than five decades. She spent 16 years in the corporate world (including the banking and oil industries) before founding her public relations firm in 1982. Her firm received dozens of awards for public relations excellence. She is the author of chapters in several books and countless articles on public relations. She coauthored On the Cusp: The Women of Penn ’64 with Vilma Barr. As a counselor to top management, she has been recognized as an expert in strategic planning, crisis, issues and environmental communications, and community outreach. Anne is a graduate of the Wharton School and received her master’s degree from the Annenberg School of Communication, both at the University of Pennsylvania. She was inducted into the Philadelphia Public Relations Association and the Rowan University Hall of Fame. Anne is an Accredited Member (APR) and a Fellow of the Public Relations Society of America. She lives with her husband and former business partner, Jerry, in Medford, New Jersey.
