James A. Pope

Jim Pope holds a PhD in business administration from the University of North Carolina and degrees in economics from Northwestern University and the College of Wooster in Ohio. Dr. Pope has over 45 years in both the academic and professional sides of supply-chain management, and has done consulting and writing in a variety of operations areas, including inventory management, logistics, scheduling, quality, and supply-chain management. Dr. Pope is currently a guest professor at the Baden-Würtemburg Cooperative State University in Mosbach, Germany. Dr. Pope is also APICS certified (CFPIM and CSCP) and has taught APICS certification review courses for 30 years. He can be found on LinkedIn and Xing.
