Jose Luis Rivas

Jose is a tenured professor at ITAM Business School. He teaches leadership and global strategy and coordinates an executive education seminar for board members. He held different positions at Inverlat Securities and Grupo ADO where he was a board member for 8 years. He holds a PhD in management from IE Business School in Spain, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Anahuac University. He is also a graduate of the International Teachers program (Bocconi). His research interests focus on boards of directors, top management teams (TMTs) and initial public offerings (IPOs). Jose is Vice President of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management, editorial board member of Corporate Governance: An International Review and the Mexico country expert for the International Corporate Governance Society.
