Mariana Schmid

Mariana Schmid has an international background in various industries. She has worked in the hedge funds industry in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands, and has gained mining and metals experience working for two major mining companies based out of Vancouver, including Ivanhoe Group of Companies. She has also provided executive support to C-levels suites and advised on large capital projects in Risk Assessment, Compliance with Regulatory Framework, Document Control and Contract Management, and implementation of new Information Systems. Having worked for Deloitte and Credential Financial Inc. in Vancouver, her research interests span a wide array of disciplines from capital markets, behavioral economics, collective intelligence, and social neuropsychology design.
