Mark Petersen
Mark Petersen has published a total of more than 105 internationally peer-reviewed books, book chapters, journal articles and conference proceedings papers that have been cited more than 500 times. These publications have discussed various aspects of financial modeling and optimization, including Basel III, financial crises, sovereign and household debt, securitization, leverage as well as credit and liquidity risk. Petersen served as a consultant for central banks. He is a founding member of the Economic Modeling and Econometrics Research Group (EMERG) that was established in 2005. In the last decade, Petersen has supervised 12 masters, 17 doctoral and 5 postdoctoral students, and has examined 5 Masters dissertations and 4 PhD theses. His students have won numerous prestigious awards both at a national and international level.
