Patrice Flynn
Patrice Flynn is an author, Fulbright Research Scholar, and Distinguished University Professor at Mount St. Mary’s University (est. 1808). She has taught at Johns Hopkins University, the U.S. Pentagon, George Washington University, and now the Mount, where she received the Richards Award for Teaching Excellence. Her research across five continents examines global capitalism, labor markets, civil society, and China’s New Silk Road. Previous positions include Vice President for Research at Independent Sector, Senior Vice President for Administration & Finance at Effat University, and CEO of Flynn Research, during which time she was selected as one of Lifetime Television’s Women of the Year.
