Philippa Hunter-Jones
Philippa Hunter-Jones has carried out research in tourism marketing for nearly 20 years and has published findings in tourism journals as well as mainstream marketing and management journals. For her PhD, she explored aspects of unsettled times through a study of the relationship between serious illness (cancer) and tourism participation. She is actively involved in the work of the Academy of Marketing through her role as Chair of the Tourism Marketing Special Interest Group and regularly presents at mainstream marketing conferences.
