Yakubu Olawale

Professor Yakubu Olawale is a Consulting Leader at KPMG UK where he consults and advises clients, boards, government, and leaders of organizations in relation to their capital projects, programs, and infrastructure investments. He is also a Professor of Infrastructure Engineering and has served as a board member at organizations in the UK including Pioneer Group. He possesses more than 20 years of experience across many sectors and has held senior positions at FTSE 100 and 250 companies in the UK, as well as lecturing and academic positions at leading UK Universities. He is multi-qualified as a Professional Project Manager, Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Construction Manager, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree and further completed an MSc at the University of Leeds, a PhD at the University of the West of England, Bristol, and an MBA at the University of Warwick. His research works have also been published in leading academic journals including International Journal of Project Management and Journal of Management in Engineering.
